And here is the base recipe I use.


  • 1 can of chickpeas (save some water for the end)
  • 2 tablespoons of tahini (paste from sesame seeds)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2-4 cloves of garlic (depends on taste)
  • 1-2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste

How to do it

Put all ingredients into a bowl and blend well with kitchen blender 🙂 If you like your paste more creamy, add some water.

Sprinkle some more olive oil on top before serving.
